  • AME 60637 Ionization and Ion Transport (graduate level, developed by Prof. Go)

Outreach

The Go Research Group actively engages the local Notre Dame community in South Bend, Indiana and surrounding areas (locally called the “Michiana” region) in a number of ways to teach and inspire area students about STEM disciplines.

  • Science Alive - a local science and technology fair for K-12 students at the St. Joseph County Public Library; the Go Group presents a plasma exhibit every year
  • Northern Indiana Science and Engineering Fair - regional science and engineering fair competition; Prof. Go advises high school students and helps coordinate the Research Club at Trinity School at Greenlawn (his alma mater), many of whom participate
  • Skype a Scientist - Prof. Go participates in this new remote way to bring scientists into K-12 science classrooms
